Respect for intellectual property
Kiran Insight respects copyright and asks users and contributors to do the same. Educational reference, reporting, public-domain material, official documents, and limited quotation may have different legal treatment depending on the facts and jurisdiction.
Copyright notice requirements
To request review or removal, choose “Copyright or DMCA” in the Rights & Contact form and provide:
- Your full name and reliable contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or an authorized representative statement.
- The exact website URL and enough detail to locate the challenged material.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, agent, or law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act, under penalty of perjury where applicable.
- Your typed or electronic signature.
Review and action
A human reviewer may request clarification, restrict access while reviewing, remove or restore material, preserve necessary records, or decline an incomplete or unsupported request. Knowingly false notices may create liability.
Counter-notice
If your material was restricted by mistake or misidentification, submit a copyright request marked as a counter-notice. Identify the removed material, explain the basis, provide required legal statements and contact information, and consent to any jurisdictional requirements that apply to you.
Repeat infringement
Where relevant and technically possible, repeated credible infringement may result in restriction of a contributor or source.
